This ad for Orange begins with a pull back through glass stars and presents in a living room on a continuous journey, out in to the vastness of space through nebulae and a spiral galaxy.
I was required to work on the space scene. It took me around two weeks using primarily Mayas` fluid FX for the Nebulae. The `timelapse style`movement within the clouds was added to bring more dynamism to the shot. The spiral galaxy was created using particle emission from textures, then vortexed. Reality took a back seat when it came to aesthetics as stars are born over millions of years and we can`t actually see a galaxies`motion, but hey ......
