WAS GEHT_Myth Busters

This title sequence aired on Discovery channel in Germany 2006. WasGeht is German for `what s`up`. In the UK and the States the show is `myth busters`. The intro was directed and produced by Paul Ayre. We used 3 artists taking 2 weeks to complete. Blastcode was used to destroy the logo. As a plugin for Maya it allows the control necessary over explosive effects on a variety of surfaces. Fortunately all shots apart from 1 were locked off. Unfortunately the client required the logo to appear intact at the end of the piece resulting in a cheesey `flying logo` effect. Notwithstanding the sequence worked quite well.
